Not the answer... but... did you know that Bill Moseley (as Dr. Heinrich von Strasserand) and Nicolas Cage (from Adaptation, and as Fu Manchu) both appear in the Rob Zombie directed faux commercial, "Werewolf Women of the SS", as seen in Tarantino's and Rodriguez's Grindhouse?

Alrighty... that last movie was "King Kong Escapes" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Kong_Escapes). It was a joint Toho and Rankin/Bass Production and was produced and directed by Arthur Rankin Jr. (hence the Yukon Cornelius pic as a clue).

Easily one of my favorite big monster films from when I was a kid. This movie rips (pays homage to) many shots from the original 1933 B&W King Kong, but stands well on its own thanks to the opposing mechanical Kong.

This movie also has a special place in my heart as the female lead gave me my first crush as a kid.:)

A few more screens, just because it's my fav, and I wanna subject you all to it ;)...

Hint: The first movie connection (that I made at least) for McQueen back to Smith, involves something very hot.

If this is too hard, I can upload the pic for the movie I wanted to do as soon as photobucket stops sucking.

You would think that on a site like this there would be true movie fans present, apparently not. Throw a few older genre films into the mix and you all start crying about it. You all sound like a buncha posers (well... the ones complaining about going back to normal movies anyway).

The whole point of a Pop Quiz style thread is the thrill of the hunt and the fun of trying to figure out what the answer is, without giving a damn for how old the film is or what genre it is. It's not about catering to "your" personal movie tastes and what "you" consider normal (normal? did I miss a post somewhere about what constitutes a "normal" film for this thread?). It's a quiz thread... not a "movies made in the past 5 years that everyone knows, so finding the answer will be really easy and fill me with a false sense of belonging and accomplishment" thread.

All you've seem to have succeeded at doing is outing yourselves as being narrow minded and full of self interest, with very little knowledge of films outside your own personal DVD collection. Let alone being able to decipher a clue or how to use Google. Next time (if I even bother), I'll try and cater to the folks who take the short yellow bus to school and I'll just post a screen of a big red "S", with the additional clue - "starred Christopher Reeve".
