Damaged *.wmv file

I'm busting my head of! I have one damaged *.wmv file and would really wanna know how could it be fixed. Does anyone have some ideas?

I haven't used it, but Steeper (http://proletsoft.freeservers.com/mmb/steeper.html) may work for you.

if the corruption is the container then avidemux will work.

I will try it tonight with both of these programs and get back to you. Thing is that file has dual audio tracks. I wonder if both of the languages will stay intact after processing it with either of those programs?

Nothing helps guys. Both of these programs are great, but they will not open it.

what is the damage?

you could try PLAYING it with mplayer. if it plays you could recover it.

If it doesn't play in Mplayer, try VLC.
