This past week 2 different websites showed some love to the world of fanediting.
Jaws 3D Blog Reviews LastSurvivor's Jaws III Monster

Romain Christmann runs a blog dedicated to Jaws 3D (!) and he recently sat down to watch LastSurvivor's
Jaws III Monster fanedit. You can read his review
here (SPOILERS!). (The site is in French but can be translated to English by clicking the UK flag at the top of the site.)
Romain: "Thank you for this item which proves once again that
Jaws 3D continues almost 30 years later to inspire people to the 4 corners of the world. So thank you to James for his work and his passion for convincing me to be less critical of the concept of
Fanediting!"
If you've seen LastSurvivor's "Making Of" documentary on his Jaws III Monster edit you'll be familiar with the website already. If you haven't, check out the plethora of information Romain has collected pertaining to Jaws 3D.

Spanish Film Magazine Writes About The World of Fanediting

Filmeweb wrote an article about the world of fanediting and name dropped Adabisi and CBB, along with mentioning a few other edits.
You can read the Spanish article
here and the English tranlastion
here (via Google translation).
The article specifically talks about Adabisi's "
Reservoir Dogs: The Black & White Edition", CBB's "
The Matrix DeZIONized" and mentions fanedits of The X-Files ("
X-Files - Exordium" by Throwgncpr), LOST ("
LOST: The Miniseries" by DriggyDriggs), The Walking Dead ("
Walking Dead Apocalypse" by g1orkatsos), The Wizard of Oz ("
Wizard of Oz Special Extended Edition" by ADigitalMan) and goes on to mention that there are various fanedits of
Superman movies,
Batman movies and
X-Men movies.
Oh, and what franchise did
not get mentioned? Not one word about the fanedits created for those movies?
...
...
...
Star Wars. Let that one sink in for a minute.
