    Q2:
"I wanted to condense The Clone Wars TV series into a trilogy of films bridging that gap between Episodes II and III."

A couple years back actor Topher Grace condensed the Star Wars Prequels to just 85 minutes. While the world may never see his cut of the prequel trilogy, he has released a trailer for it. More on his website, Cereal Prize.

(We'll embed it here at a later date if he grants us permission to do so.)

As a special May the 4th treat, njvc has released PULP EMPIRE.

    njvc:
"My intention was to take The Empire Strikes Back and remix it, using songs from and inspired by the films of Quentin Tarantino. 100% of the score has been replaced, as well as overdubbing Yoda with Pai Mei, from Kill Bill Volume 2.

There are many visual nods to Tarantino as well, but in no way is this intended to be a new Tarantino film! It's intended as a fun homage to one of my favourite filmmakers, and a remix of one of the best films ever made. Steering away from the Tarantino vibe, I have also included a hero moment for most of the main characters, and thrown in a few songs that Tarantino would never use in a million years... Hope you enjoy it!"

Faneditor %20 just released his new fanedit: AARRSSTW-WTSSRRAA

What is AARRSSTW - WTSSRRAA? (hold on to your potatoes!)
The 1997 Star Wars Special Edition resorted by shot length. Ascending and Descending the 2291 shots of 0002 to 1765 frames. %20's attempt to create a possibly equally perplexing retelling, which lives up to the "Specialer" moniker.
    A multi-angled double feature.

The first edit by t528491, "Star Wars - Episode I: The Phantom Mending" has been approved by the fanedit.org Academy and is now released!

    According to the editor...

"This fanedit aims to remove the unnecessary elements of TPM and to create a version that is much more in line with the original trilogy. By removing most of Jar Jar's appearances, much of Anakin's dialogue, and entire scenes and plotlines, the film now feels much more like a Star Wars movie. I've always felt that behind the idiotic humor and tedious pacing, there was a decent movie to be found, and this edit endeavors to be that movie."

seciors had a sleeper hit with "Return of the Sith" and he's followed that up with his next installment in his SW prequel trilogy, "Army of the Republic."

    seciors sez:

"Episode II is probably the worst Star Wars movie ever made. It has terrible dialog, a terrible plot, terrible acting, and a confusing storyline. Can it be fixed? That is my intention, and while it can never be a great movie, I believe it is now very watchable. The romance between Anakin and Padme has been completely overhauled, so that their relationship becomes a strong and believable one. Anakin's relationship with Obi-Wan is also repaired. Additionally, almost all complicated and/or confusing elements of the plot have been eliminated. Dooku is the sole villain throughout, and there is no reveal to the Jedi or the audience about a Sith Lord controlling the senate. Finally, Jar-Jar screen time, as well as politics, have been stripped to the absolute minimum. Oh, and no Chosen One."

    Trailer, you shall watch.
