All I'm really saying is that it took me many years to realize that Joe D wasn't actually all that handsome; in fact, from certain angles, quite the opposite. But he had such charisma and/or charm that he made people think he was actually a lot handsomer than he was...kind of like the elves in Terry Pratchett's Discworld. Anyway, back to the thread

Marilyn was seemingly more attracted to talent than looks. Arthur Miller was no looker either. So guys, work on your personalities. There is hope.
Joe Dimaggio IS ugly! Wow. Yeah, that wasn't intentional. Steve Buschemi eyes and mouth on Harrison Ford and Marilyn's hair AND lips were recolored to take away her trademark blonde/bright red look. And I intentionally chose a pic of Harrison with that weird earring and one of Marilyn where you don't notice the beauty mark.
Thanks for the details, addiesin, especially on the Marilyn. That auburn/brown hair and darker lipstick give her almost a Jane Russell or Ava Gardner kind of vibe...I'm not complaining
