Turning the script off stops the problem yes, but why I'm not sure, as it doesn't do that with any of the other forums I'm a member of and is only supposed to check links from sites like RS and MU and then flag them red or green depending if they're dead or not.

It's not the script as I've just made a couple of posts and the extra lines aren't there.

As a web developer, I beg of you to please stop using Firefox 3. You can get Firefox 9 to look like 3.6 by right-clicking in an empty space near the top, unchecking Tabs On Top and rechecking Menu Bar.

Not until I can get the Bookmarks drop down menu in the menu bar, I am aware there's a dropdown bookmarks icon but that's no good.

EDIT: oh goody extra lines are back

Here's what you do. Right-click an empty space on the toolbar, click Customise, and a bookmark icon should appear next to the searchbox. Drag it down to the bookmarks toolbar. And voila, a dropdown bookmarks menu.

    Merry Christmas!

Thanks for the tip GC but I don't like the icon, the actual problem was a plugin I installed from version 7 which removed the bookmarks entry from the menu bar.

    9.01 on all machines now!

    Merry Chrimble!
