  • Welcome to the World of FanEdits!

What are FanEdits, and why make them? FanEdits are an artform where someone takes a video source/sources and rearranges them with video editing software to create either a modified, or even radically new version of a movie.

Mikedrew87 released a new fanedit The Walking Dead: Comic Edition

A Walking Dead TV-to-Movie edit. Creating a 79 minute film from episodes 1-3 & 6 of Season One and 2 episodes from Season Two. A Black and White sketch effect has also been added to create that feel of the original comic.

"I wanted to create a live action Walking Dead comic. The movie is in chronological order using the flashbacks to set up the story from the beginning. This edit isn't about the whole show, it is about a man that is looking for his wife and son"

Greetings FE. I have some good news and some bad news. (Or good news and good news, depending on your perspective.)

GOOD NEWS!!! I am proud to announce two additions to the Administrative team, Take Me To Your Cinema & Gatos. They have both shown to be awesome Faneditors and community members, not to mention all-around swell fellas. I am certain they will keep things running smoothly and will be loved by all.

So now… I am also here to announce my retirement as an Admin. I’ve had a lot of fun working here, but due to personal reasons I will be stepping down and passing the baton. I still have plenty of love and enthusiasm for FE, and I look forward to creating a lot more for the site.

Now let’s all get back to making some thrilling fanedits.

This year we opened up the voting pool to allow the Faneditors to choose the nominations. It hasn't been going so well and there's only 10 days left. If I don't get enough votes I'm going to kill this kitten.

So if you don't want to me to stick my magnum in that pussy, go to this thread, pick your nominees and send me a Private Message.

Voting ends April 15th 11:59 PM PST.
