  • Welcome to the World of FanEdits!

Beezo has released a new fanedit: 'Earth One'.

An edit of 'Another Earth' aimed at making the film more "believable" within the confines of its premise.

    Beezo:
"The purpose of this edit was to remove all of the imagery of Earth 2 being in close proximity of Earth 1 and to otherwise remove scientific implausibilities throughout the film. A mystery component was added to the film by removing the opening scenes. Bad acting was trimmed, VOs were removed and a new, less troublesome, ending was provided."

Billy Batson has released a new fanedit: 'Superman IV: The Quest For Cash'.

This is a fanfix of Superman 4, adding deleted material and cutting the most egregiously silly bits.

    Billy Batson:
"The goal of this fan edit is not to turn SUPERMAN IV into a great movie. I don't believe that is possible. What I wanted to do was make a movie that I could enjoy, and though I still might hate myself for having watched it in the first place, I could feel better about myself by the next day."

JetSetWilly has released a new fanedit: 'Balboa'.

This is the first two Rocky movies edited into one streamlined whole.

    JetSetWilly:
"By mixing both the first two Rocky movies together, and eliminating footage not needed, the combined run time of 4 hours is whittled down to 2 hours and 10 minutes, making for a streamlined movie, charting Rocky's rise from underdog, to champ."

mredthefed has released his first fanedit: 'Heavy Star Wars: Episode I'.

This is 'The Phantom Menace' with the music replaced with the likes of ZZ Top, Cream, Beck and Talking Heads. Think 1981 cult animated classic 'Heavy Metal'.

    mredthefed:
"My intention was to make a Star Wars movie a bit more easier to watch, especially if you are not a fan. I started with Episode III on a whim, and I am now going back to hopefully create "Heavy" versions of all the movies."

FatherMerrin has released a new Fanedit 'The Hobbit: There and Back Again: The Editor's Edition'.

This is the 2nd and final part in a Hobbit fanedit duology. If you're looking for the Orcs, Radagast, the love story and the council to be removed, this isnt the edit for you. But if you're looking for a toned down version of the films, this is the edit for you.

    FatherMerrin:
"After scraping the idea of returning the original movie back to the structure Guillermo Del Toro had planned, I've carried on where I left off in the first edit with the focus very much on getting to Smaug as soon as possible and making the battle leaner."

Mikedrew87 has released 2 new versions of 'The Walking Dead: Comic Edition'.

So there are four ways to watch this fanedit: With a B&W comic-effect, a Color comic-effect version and now the option to watch it in the original color live-action, or in B&W. So experience this however you want!

    Mikedrew87:
"This edit is about Rick Grimes trying to find his wife and son. This is an edited down feature-length film from episodes 1-3 & 6 Season One and 2 episodes from Season Two. The movie is in chronological order using the flashbacks to set up the story from the beginning. I wanted to create a live action Walking Dead comic. This edit isn't about the whole show, it is about a man that is looking for his wife and son."

smudger9 has released his first fanedit: 'The Clone Wars - Episode I: Army Of The Republic'.

This is the first part in an ongoing series of TV-to-Movie edits of the Star Wars 'Clone Wars' animated show. The original movie and six episodes of the TV series are presented with the classic Star Wars movie structure, providing the first part of a progressive bridge between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.

    smudger9:
"The Clone Wars movie and TV series was a great addition to Star Wars canon. However, it had a lot of filler, was often very child-orientated and had villains that were less than threatening. I wanted to create a movie series that stuck to the Star Wars movie structure while also stripping out the filler, removing the childish elements and creating threatening villains."
