Week of February 4, 2018 – New Fanedit Releases

[notphone]This week we have three fanedit–or seven, depending on how you look at it–releases. First we have Q2’s Twin Peaks: Between Two Worlds, a 5-part series that cuts over six hours from the 18-hour series Twin Peaks: The Return that aired late last year. Next up we have Zarius’s third Doctor Who fanedit: Doctor Who – The Pilot (Extremis Edition). This edit combines the pilot with three other episodes to create a unified story. And finally we have T2: Judgement Day: Fourth Option Special Editon Remastered from Bobson Dugnut. This is an HD re-mastered version of ADigitalMan’s edit from 2005 that adds in the scene of the T-1000 searching John Connor’s bedroom.

Twin Peaks: Between Two Worlds – Picking up 25 years after the events of the original series finale in 1991, FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper is trapped in the Lodge. Now with the help of The One Armed Man, Cooper must avoid the traps his evil doppelgänger has set for him.

Doctor Who – The Pilot (Extremis Edition) – The Doctor meets his new assistants, Nardole and Bill, as he begins to honor a promise to look over a fallen friend for a thousand years. This edit mergers the first episode of Doctor Who’s tenth series with three other episodes from that particular series, removing all the pretentious teasing of what’s inside The Vault that goes ultimately nowhere and has an obvious reveal handed to us within minutes of the episode.

T2: Judgement Day – Fourth Option: Special Edition Remastered – 11 years have passed since Sarah Connor was targeted by a cyborg from the future. Now her son, John, the future leader of the human resistance, is the target for a newer, more deadly terminator. Once again, the resistance has managed to send a warrior to protect John and his mother. The battle for tomorrow has begun…
